President Trump is right to do this. China is an enemy of the US who is working towards defeating us militarily. The question is, can we count on EU to back us? I believe the answer is "no".

One hundred percent agree with you Bill. This should have been done a long time ago. One thing that will turn me away from voting for a Democrat is the possibility that decisions like these will be rolled back and China be allowed to do what they've always been doing.

We just need the same "effort" to ban any sensitive technology ban to China, no matter which country which use it is doing it as CoCom was made for.
I completely disagree. The EU has fallen away from us because for 20+ years we allowed Russia to intimidate eastern Europe, invade them, not protect them - and worse yet, for 20+ years we have allowed socialist leftist culture war to go on unchecked. From media to learning institutions - what you see in the USA happening, this misinformed, misguided, leftist terror is happening in Europe too. There the agenda is more open yet. Capitalism and USA are bad, Russia is misunderstood and our friend. Please. Last time I checked it was the USA that defended Europe including Germany, and helped them rebuild. We are not countering this decades of propaganda and institutional warfare. Of course after a few decades you get a population that suddenly is pro Russian. Because there is no counter narrative. Russia gasprom even hired former German heads of state (see that pig Gerhard Schröder who embarrassed himself in front of the nation on live TV and then ran to them a day later)..the US needs to smarten up. People are malleable everywhere.
