....The only problem is that they know I am going to win (best economy & employment numbers in U.S. history, & much more), and the deal will become far worse for them if it has to be negotiated in my second term. Would be wise for them to act now, but love collecting BIG TARIFFS!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 11, 2019
CNBC: Trump tells China to ‘act now’ on trade or face a ‘far worse’ deal in his second term
* Chinese and U.S. negotiators held trade talks in Washington Friday after Trump more than doubled tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods.
* Trump said Friday’s talks were constructive and negotiations will continue.
* Treasury Secretary Steve Mnunchin told CNBC no further trade talks are planned between the two sides “as of now.”
President Donald Trump on Saturday called for China to act now on trade or risk facing a worse deal if negotiations continue into a possible second term after the 2020 presidential election.
Trump claimed China was ‘beaten so badly’ in recent trade negotiations that Beijing wanted to wait until after the 2020 election in the hope a Democrat would win the White House and offer them a better deal.
Trump, however, said he would prevail in the upcoming election and warned that a trade deal would be ‘much worse’ for China if it was negotiated during his second term.

WNU Editor: As mentioned in a previous commentary ....
.... The U.S. economy is booming, there is full employment, and U.S. wages are for the first time in decades increasing. In this environment there is no reason or motivation for the White House to compromise on trade, let alone capitulating completely to Beijing's demands.
The Chinese have very little if any leverage over President Trump, and President Trump is making that very clear to them. But are the Chinese listening? From what I am reading and hearing from China, the answer is no.

Trump is focused on the long game too. That game involves using America’s vast cheap energy resources to lure manufacturing back to the USA from China and worldwide.
Next force importers to move from China to Asian friendly nations such as India, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc Both designed to take dollars from China.
Third put the fear of lost profits on American firms offshoring to China.
It’s all about removing dollars from the Chinese communist party. These tariffs are permanent.

Nailed it!! There's actually little that could be added. Essentially Trump and his team are beating and schooling the Chinese and the Russians for that matter. They seem to have focused their energies on assisting those who would try and thwart POTUS's efforts, hoping Trump gets impeached, voted out of office, or some other unfortunate fate befalls him. Essentially these are the only options they have at this point.
All electronics, transmissions, engines used in America (North America) should be built in America (North America).
This is true for every continent including Africa.
It is the only way to have security, when you have fascists like Xi, Putin, and Khamenei running around.

I can confirm that at least the brain drain is no longer occurring. In the first part of the 2010s there was a brain drain from Asian nations like Vietnam to China. I've seen them in flocks learn Chinese. Not because they liked China - they never did-purely for monetary opportunity. Fast forward to 2018+.. barely anyone still learning Chinese. The Vietnamese love the west, western values and are craving for an opportunity to join us. All we have to do is to reach out to these very pro western nations
Just one thing about our values: that excludes what the Democrat/leftists are doing. .it's a head scratcher to many in Asia. .gender fluidity, bathroom stalls, hyper anti male behaviour under the disguise of female empowerment. They completely reject that. Just to keep in mind that other nations are watching us and not all we do is welcome or accepted. This certainly isn't. But freedom for all, opportunity for all, that's well understood but they ironically are more meritocracy oriented than we are today.
