Putin is good shape for an old man. You could say he is in great shape compared to many statesmen, politicians, and Nadler. Health and leaders does matter. There have been books written about how poor health has affected leaders down throughout history. George H.W. Bush had Graves disease and he put up as much fight as a 'fish' on a wrestling mat in 1992.
But 8 goals? Pfffft!
Trump pumping up the heat on trade tariffs must be such a joy to Americans who like to see a strong leader but who are not aware, or, are ignoring the fact that they are the ones paying the tariffs.
Actually the tariffs are going to the treasury. As the editor has pointed out, the current trade situation with China is unsustainable for America. It must be changed. The current agreement the American side is willing to make allows China to lock in their gains while allowing America some measure of reasonableness yet the Chinese side can't or won't accept this. Those who get to greedy as China appears to be right now risk losing everything.
Leaders and health is an interesting topic. I would agree that Putin is likely in good shape but 8 goals does seem a bit much, at least if the game is not rigged. Also, DJT is in excellent health in contrast to HRC who was/is sickly. If George H.W. Bush had Graves disease, this would be a possible explanation for his lack of fight.
Anyway based upon what I can tell the Russian and/or Chinese leadership cannot defeat president Trump. They seem to have pinned their hopes on him either being impeached by hook or crook or getting voted out of office. So much for the "collusion" nonsense. Also, unfortunately much of the beuracracy that Trump inherited consists of incompetent boobs and political hacks. This serves as a dead weight of sorts when trying to formulate or implement policies.

Thanks for the Bloomberg link. Based upon what I have seen I think the Bloomberg analysis is incorrect and does not cover the full situation. Right now I think Trump has the number of Chinese and Russian leadership. This could change. Perhaps Trump will misstep or perhaps Trump's opponents will impeach him or vote him out of office. At this point, this seems to be what the Chinese are hoping for.
Of course if the price of the goods are now higher people will buy less of them and will find alternatives that are less expensive and of higher quality. So the Chinese are paying. This is obviously hurting them or they would not be negotiating. The current deal America is willing to make is heavily beneficial to China. Those who get to greedy risk losing everything.

Some Chinese goods will not be imported as a result. The goods will be bought from other countries of form US companies in the US. This latter is good, because it will employ more Americans.

Exactly!! The current trade deal being extended to China by the US is heavily favotable to China and would essentially allow China to lock in its position for a very, very long time. Why won't they take it? Hatred and naked greed will cause those who have them to lose everything.
As for Bob being a "negative Nancy," from reading his posts, I think he hates America and Americans. As such, he would support the previous failing policies and naturally he'd oppose someone like Trump who wants to make America great.
America is obviously not Canada. This is something we all aspire to. Maybe we'll get there someday. Of course if most Canadians hate and despise us the way Bob does is this desirable. The moment we let our guard down we'll find a knife in us!!

The orgional and ensuring trade deals with China were designed to accomplish more wealth for the wealthy and the large corporations. That was when the jobs left the country and they aren't ever coming back. At this point a lot of those jobs never existed in America in the first place. Trump is a patsy for the wealthy and likely the wealthy in more than one country. If you are happy to pay more for foreign goods because of tariffs, and you can bet the large corporations will pump up the prices even for products not made in China, good luck.
As for hating America and Americans. You sound like a couple of stood up floozies. If you are unable to look at your country and see the bad as well as the good and want to do whatever it takes to fix it, or rile up when the bad stuff is brought to your attention, you are certainly not patriots, but again floozies.
