U.S. Congress Asks President Trump Not To Withdraw From Syria

Israel Hayom: Some 400 members of US Congress ask Trump to address Syrian threats, ensure Israel’s defense

In bipartisan letter, some 79 senators, 303 representatives from both parties recommend Trump limit the presence of terrorists and extremists, strengthen Israel's security, underscore Israel's right to self-defense and increase pressure on Hezbollah.

A bipartisan letter signed by nearly 400 members from both sides of the aisle in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate was sent to U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, calling on him to address threats in Syria and ensure Israel’s safety.

“At a time of grave insecurity in the Middle East, we are deeply concerned about the role that terrorist and extremist groups and U.S. adversaries continue to play, particularly in Syria,” stated the letter. “As some of our closest allies in the region are being threatened, American leadership and support are as crucial as ever.”

What a bunch of bozo's.
Many of those clowns supported Obama's Iran deal, or at least acquiesced to its implementation when they were in office. Obviously the new socialist Dems supported it back in the day. Yet it was that deal that fueled Tehrans' running wild in Syria funding that civil war and terrorist groups.

A horrible bunch of bozo's and I hope Trump calls them out on their hypocrisy.

Not sure who signed it vs supported Obama, but your point is spot on!

I would never have thought that so much support for our being in Syria existed. Not from the headlines the media has put on the front page for some time.

Imagine how much money you have to spend to get 400 congress members to sign off on a policy so unpopular with their own constituents. If the major news media wasn't almost entirely pro-war with regard to Iran it would be so easy for them to use this story for each "side's" barely-veiled partisan activism. Hardly a week goes by where CNN or FOX isn't trying to tear apart the reputation of some swing state back-bencher over practically fictional scandals. But you won't see any of that here. By their own calculation, AIPAC's money is too essential for both parties and so they're both going to get a free pass on making American interests secondary to the interests of a foreign government. The most infuriating part is that the average republican who didn't blink when Bush passed Citizen's United eventually evolved into the group that sang along to Trump's anti-war tune during the 2016 elections. They handed control of our government to billionaires and foreign interests then got mad that it turned out to be a raw deal, but now have apparently accepted the same old foreign ownership as long as their preferred celebrity (superficially) reigns in the oval office.

Fact is, a chaotic and divided middle east is beneficial to Israel's apartheid state. That's what these treasonous policies boil down to. That's what the trillions of dollars and thousands of young lives buys us.

Not to mention that US control of the airspace over northern Syria is crucial for potential strikes against western Iran, which is yet another example of AIPAC and Mossad having greater influence with our elected officials than their own electorate.

^ Haha. Imagine believing that your boomer-tier insults have any effect outside of your facebook circlejerk with Dale from accounting. Got a refutation for anything I wrote, or just generally upset by the analysis?

You heard it here first folks: after years waiting for the Mueller Report it turns out...

Trump is really a puppet for Israel! Because he's causing war for all of Israel's neighbors to keep 'em down! And giving the peaceful harmless Palestinians a bad deal.

Oh, but he wants to pull out of Syria, wtf? Oh right...

Congress is really a puppet of AIPAC! Impossible 400 people actually want us to stay in Syria (which has been categorically supported by all military and political leaders since Obama's time)! Oh wait, they are also a puppet of the Mossad too! Nice name drop anon!

Nothing like a good ole AIPAC, Mossad team up! Any other Jewish institutions to throw in there? How about the Kushner family, Hollywood, Joe Lieberman, Alan Dershowitz, maybe the Rothschilds?

Thanks Anon, quality post! Mind telling us where you write from and when the last time you were in Israel was?

Lol, I just reread your post anon. You actually, in the real world, claimed that this was treasonous.

There are less than 10 million people in Israel. Less than 7 million Jews. We aren't THAT rich buddy! I have never personally tried to secretly convince 80% of Congress and the entire Executive Branch to commit treason (I know, weird, totally not like the Protocals of the Elders of Zion, I guess they don't appreciate my talent??) but I imagine to pull that off would require a little more dough than us crooked nosed Jews got! And you know: we also have a really hard time parting with money, even when we reap the benefits of treason.

In all seriousness, if such a thing is possible with you, I really thought the entire Congress and Exec branch was treasonously bought out to kill your kids and steal your money for a country the size of New Jersey, I'd seriously leave. Why don't you? (Ignoring your xenophobia, of course.)

Usually you gatekeeper types don't admit to your ethnicity while out on hasbara patrol, so kudos to you for that I guess.
