US Navy soldiers were reportedly told to clap 'like they were at a strip club' before the arrival of Mike Pence yesterday.
The Vice President was making a visit to the USS Harry S. Truman on Tuesday to reassure sailors that the veteran warship was not going to be retired ahead of schedule.
But according to CNN, just hours before his arrival at the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia, crewmembers were informed by the ship's senior enlisted sailor that they would be expected to 'clap like we're at a strip club'.

It's common practice - like literally 100% all the time this is told to service men and women.
BUT, people are disrespecting this administration so much so that they are making a story out of this nothing burger. And all lefties join in and go "wow , this is so crazy". No, it's not. It's just that CNN and MSNBC didn't report on it during the Obama times - people were told ALL the time to clap for Obama as he was deeply unpopular with the armed forces. But very popular with the media. It's the same again and again and the leftist mind is so easily manipulated
You should have seen the email that went out to everyone in the USAF (late 2016/early 2017) soliciting congratulatory/thank you messages of farewell for President Obama. It was made clear that only positive messages were welcome.
