The House Judiciary Committee announced Monday that it will hold a series of hearings as part of a bipartisan investigation into whether there is enough competition among U.S. technology companies.
While no companies were named, any investigation will inevitably touch on Amazon, Facebook, Google and Apple, all of which have come under increased scrutiny in recent years for their dominance in a variety of markets including social networking, online advertising, online search, e-commerce and mobile apps.

Good. These companies are run by leftist oligarchs. Their authoritarian practice of blocking, demonetizing and refusing services to people who think differently than they do needs to stop.
Congress also needs to change loopholes in the law that allow these companies to skirt taxes. The penalties for these abuses need to be in the billions.
Not to mention the blatant abuses in their incessant electronic eavesdropping and tracking. FaceBook even handed over a forklift operator's name and address to NYT for making a funny video of Nancy Pelosi. Now he's being hounded by the leftist mob.
