Please pay attention to Sudan tonight. The army is breaking up months of a sit-in outside military complex. Military had been violent in the past and seem intent on doing the same again. They also got a boost from Gulf allies in recent visit. Praying this is not an Egypt repeat.. https://t.co/4X76DSljxO— Bessma Momani (@b_momani) June 3, 2019

Every time the western press hasn't seen a photograph of a north korean for a while they declare that he's been sent to a gulag or executed in a cartoonish fashion like being shot out of a cannon. And then it turns out that 99% of the time it's a much more mundane explanation, like they were just busy with work or in the hospital or something. I wish we'd stop being so over the top on NK as there's more than enough reason to oppose the regime without constantly giving them fodder to make us look like fools.
