Donald Trump threatened Iran with 'obliteration' if it attacks 'anything American' Tuesday after the country's president branded the White House 'mentally retarded' after Donald Trump issued fresh sanctions against the leadership in Tehran.
He launched a fusillade of tweets calling the country's leadership 'ignorant and insulting' after the insult from its president, Hassan Rouhani.
'Iran’s very ignorant and insulting statement, put out today, only shows that they do not understand reality.' he said.
'Any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force. In some areas, overwhelming will mean obliteration. No more John Kerry & Obama!'
