The First Pentagon Plan To Use Nuclear Weapons Against The Soviet Union Involved 66 Targets And 204 Bombs

South Front: “Wipe the Soviet Union Off the Map”: Planned US Nuclear Attack against USSR

According to a secret document dated September 15, 1945, “the Pentagon had envisaged blowing up the Soviet Union with a coordinated nuclear attack directed against major urban areas.

All major cities of the Soviet Union were included in the list of 66 “strategic” targets. The tables below categorize each city in terms of area in square miles and the corresponding number of atomic bombs required to annihilate and kill the inhabitants of selected urban areas.

Six atomic bombs were to be used to destroy each of the larger cities including Moscow, Leningrad, Tashkent, Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa.

The Pentagon estimated that a total of 204 bombs would be required to “Wipe the Soviet Union off the Map”. The targets for a nuclear attack consisted of sixty-six major cities.

WNU Editor: This Pentagon plan was dated September 15, 1945, just over a month after Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed by nuclear weapons. Interestingly, the bombings used up all of America's nuclear arsenal, and (if memory serves me correctly), it would be another 6 months before the would have another nuclear weapon. So even if the U.S. wanted to wage a nuclear strike against the Soviet Union, it would be years before they would be able to do so.

As a matter of training the Pentagon likely has similar plans, periodically updated, for the bombing/invasion of every country on Earth including Malta. Likewise Russia, China too.

Insane?

We gave the Russians

10% of their tanks
10% of their airplanes
90% of their trucks

Without us they would be part of the Ost Reich.

How did they repay us? With the Iron Curtain.

Damn right you had to have a contingency plan.

When did the Soviets stop plotting to take over the world?

The Americans were supporting both sides, you know against the middle, until Russia beat the crap out of the invading Germans. That is a very old strategy.

Bob, you mean let two enemies fight it out. There is no dishonor, or in helping the Soviets beat the Germans. Now the Russians want to be as Germany, and China as well.
We must plan for the true human infidels(China and Russia) to do all in there power to put us all under their control.
Humanity must stand together against the loss of our freedoms. Sites like this that, with fascist commenter hacks from the right denouncing and excoriating all that is good about America and liberal democracy help to brainwash those who do not mine for truth and are mindless followers of far right and nationalist subterfuge.

No Bob. The Soviets were just crappy allies.

Many a bomber pilot found that out.

We're lucky that the Russians did not intern our bomber pilots in concentration camps.

What was Canada doing in WW2 Bob?

Did you or your father hide out and shirk the draft?

Regarding supporting both sides of a conflict, did I say it was wrong?

Even the Rothschilds supported the Nazis until the tide turned. Your guilty conscious forces you to think and talk inside the box you have self imposed.

USG never sent the NAZIs supplies.

Try again harder.

You missed again. Expand you thinking, just a little. Okay maybe a lot.
