DW: Afghanistan's president rejects foreign interference

Afghanistan's president has said peace is only possible with an agreement between Afghanistan and the Taliban. His remarks come amid US efforts to finalize a peace deal with the Taliban.

There is no doubt the ending once the USA leaves. A big blood bath. Same goes in Iraq and Syria when the US pulls out.
On the other hand, the US won’t fight other nations civil wars indefinitely so a withdrawal is inevitable. Just a question of when. For Afghanistan the time is soon.

As regards Afghanistan, and once the Taliban again becomes the government? A return to normality only with the parties being better armed perhaps.

I have said this many times here, this is folly and the US just needs to have hardened bases to rule Afghanistan by air and keep the Taliban in check. I realize this might seem a strange plan, but look at all the news and events. Without the US, these Taliban and the Afghanistan government will do as they please.
