Times of Israel: Netanyahu hints again that Israel attacked Iran-backed militias in Iraq

‘We’re acting in very many theaters against a state that seeks to annihilate us,’ PM says, following similar statements earlier this week.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to hint on Thursday that Israel was behind attacks against Iran-backed militias in Iraq over the past month.

“I don’t grant Iran immunity anywhere,” he said to Channel 9. “Iran is a state, a power, that has sworn to annihilate Israel. It’s trying to establish bases against us everywhere. In Iran itself, in Lebanon, in Syria, in Iraq, in Yemen.”

It’s already pretty obvious who is attacking these targets to anyone who’s paying attention.

Iraq's dirty secret: If it hadn't been saved by the PMU militias the government looked set to collapse to the likes of ISIS because it's nepotistic useless military was a joke. After the fall of Mosul the mullahs in Iran made a few televised speeches and along with Moqtada al-Sadr they created a ground force in 72 hours that reconquered the entire country in less time than it took the Iraqi army to reconquer the Baiji oil refinery (each of the three times that they lost it again). But they also need all those sweet, sweet free dollars and weapons from Uncle Sam to keep their air force flying. This guy spoke way out of turn and it's no wonder that he got sat-down for naming the elephant in the room.
