Massive Explosion At A Russian Naval Missile Base Kills Two And Injures Six

RT: 2 dead after explosion during 'liquid-fueled engine' test at military site in Russia

A blast has rocked a Russian Navy firing range during trials, the Ministry of Defense has said. At least two service members were killed in the explosion.

A “liquid-fueled jet engine” went off at the testing cite close to the city of Severodvinsk. The latter is home to a major base of the Russian Navy’s Northern Fleet.

As well as the two “specialists” who succumbed to their injuries, six more people were injured and were being treated in hospital.

So the Russians are ready to got to war. It looks like they have their own infrastructure or training problems like the Germans. Or maybe it is sabotage.

My bet is sabotage, munitions storage is a pretty benign business.

Reminder: last years were lots of accidents in the US navy and airforce. .it's more likely that continuous deployment, lack of training and oversight are at play

And/or the cool new age of cyber warfare and we just are not told that this is it. The new cold but apparently not so cold "cold war" ;) o_O
