Newsweek: Russia Will Get More Submarines Next Year Than Any Time Since End of Soviet Union
Russia is reportedly set to receive six new submarines in 2020, the most it's received in a single year since right after the fall of the Soviet Union.
Citing a defense industry source, the state-run Tass Russian News Agency reported Friday that the Russian navy would receive four nuclear-powered and two diesel-powered submarines next year, the most since receiving the same amount of submarines in 1992, just months after the Soviet communist empire collapsed in December 1991. Along with it, much of what was by far the world's largest military and the most expansive submarine fleet was divided and dissolved.
Since first coming to power at the dawn of the 21st century, however, Russian President Vladimir Putin has sought to revamp his country's naval power and introduce new, modernized underwater equipment.

Yup everyone preparing for world war 3. Any investor - move your money out of China and Russia perhaps too if Putin does not side with western values of liberty and democracy. Because the last thing the world needs now is more of the Russian mafia model or the Chinese enslavement by the party model. No thank you. Our own models have problems too but wow yours are terrifying to live under and we will not. And we know most Russians prefer our model, or their version of it with less Putinesque murders and mafia. And less senseless wars. We all want less of that. And less theft. .looking at you, China. And we all know Russian theft/cyber theft is second biggest too. So to make Russia look innocent you just gotta know how bad China is. I don't see any western European nation following them. India has rejected them. Australia Japan new Zealand Philippines Malaysia Singapore they all side with us on this. .Vietnam and Thailand too.. those in south America who have tasted the previous Russian model don't want any of it either. Mexico sides with us.Canada does. Israel is on our side. .Germany England France Italy Spain Portugal, the brave Irish. We could just send them alone and they'd fuck you up haha. Come on, Putin. Don't go down as the idiot of history. Give the people what they want and help the world be safer and more prosperous
