Russian Opposition Leader Alexei Navalny Released From Jail. Promises More Protests



Daily Mail: Putin foe Alexei Navalny is released 30 days after he was jailed for planning protests and warns the 'regime will strongly regret what it has done'

* Alexei Navalny, 43, was arrested on July 24 for planning opposition protests
* Today the Yale-educated lawyer was released from detention centre in Moscow
* Thousands have rallied against opposition figures being barred from elections
* He urged supporters to continue protesting and said 'we will not be frightened'

Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has been released from prison today after serving 30 days for planning opposition protests.

Although police were outside the jail they made no move to re-arrest him, as they have when some other political figures have been freed.

Since his arrest on July 24, tens of thousands of Russians have joined rallies to protest opposition figures being barred from standing in elections to Moscow's city parliament on September 8.

Maybe the next Hong Kong like protests for Russia?its gaining steam there lately

It will eventually happen, in the future for some unknown reason Chechens will kill him walking down the street over a bridge.
