China announced on Friday it will impose as much 10 per cent on US$75 billion worth of US products following US President Donald Trump’s threats to impose new tariffs on Chinese imports next month, state media reported.

Markets have not and will not panick on the China issue.

Every single hedge fond knew this was coming. Knew it for years, if they've paid any attention to candidate Trump. Trump even back in the 80s said this was the core issue he would ever consider doing when president. It's all on youtube. I recommend those people who still don't understand him and this historic moment to watch. Watch what he said 30+ years ago. Maybe then you will switch channels. I can only hope.

This is more about China not the US. The US is in a very strong position and China cannot undo that. Worried though; what is next with China, too many pressure points.

The new Chinese tariffs are targeting goods originating from certain US swing states. States that Trump wasn't supposed to win, but did by a small margin.

Their hope is that this will damage Trump politically and will cause him to lose in 2020.

/Wonder if there's any "collusion" between the Chicomms and Democrat Party apparatchiks.
