Military Times: Iran killed more US troops in Iraq than previously known, Pentagon says

he Pentagon is upping the official estimate on the number of U.S. troops in Iraq who were killed by Iranian-backed militias, now putting that number at at least 603.

Officials previously said that Iran was linked to the deaths of roughly 500 troops.

That means roughly one in every six American combat fatalities in Iraq were attributable to Iran.

The deaths are attributed to proxies sponsored by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — Iran’s elite military force that protects the regime from internal and external threats.

The American people pray that the Iranian terrorists will pay a heavy price. Will trump be up to this? My fear is, he will not be, and the Iranian terrorists will continue oppressing their suffering people, and with their vile "Death to America" sloganeering.

Further proof that the invasion of Iraq was a fool's errand and a disaster of the first order. Instead of blaming Iran, we ought to bring GW Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bolton, Wolfowitz, Feith and the rest of the neo-con gang that lied us into that disaster to justice.
