Fats Domino. When I was 8, 9 ? Good grief. What hasn't been sung decades ago?
R&R was better when I was young and so were the bands. Mick Jagger hopping around on a stage just doesn't cut it anymore at his age. Too contrived. Now my '39 Ford coup with a hopped up flathead...that's different. Would I relish opening up those two Stromberg 97's, and shifting into second gear on a long freeway onramp again and forever. That's an aural experience that's timeless.
Political correctness be damned. Long live the fragrance of leaded gas forever.
