Reuters: Amid crises, Xi seems set to uphold Party's rule at secretive China conclave
BEIJING/SINGAPORE (Reuters) - China’s Communist Party leaders will on Monday start their most important meeting this year, with President Xi Jinping expected to champion the Chinese model of governance while fighting protracted economic and political crises at home and abroad.
The four-day conclave comes at a critical time, as Hong Kong grapples with anti-government protests for the fourth month, drawing Western criticism of Beijing for trampling on the rights and liberties of Hong Kong people in its handling of the violent demonstrations.
China’s economy is also growing at its slowest pace in nearly three decades, hurt in part by a prolonged trade war with the United States. Stable growth has been fundamental to the Party’s political legitimacy.
It is key for Beijing to use the occasion to cast the Chinese political system as meritocratic, unchallengeable and superior to Western democracy, said Wang Jiangyu, director of the Asian Law Institute at the National University of Singapore.

Are you suggesting the Chinese, or, some other group like maybe an actual enemy that they should send "one well aimed missile" over the next time Trump addresses Congress?
Bob, no. As bad as the US Congress is, the Communist Party of China is 10 times as dangerous, 10 times as bad. Just ask the Chinese prisoners of conscience who have had their bodies organs removed while they still live(to implant into to bodies of aging communist party members). The soulless doctors performing these organ removals/rapes keep the poor victim alive as long as possible as piece by piece, they are taken apart for the Frankenstein Chinese Communist party. The Chinese stink of brutality and are a huge danger to the future of the world. One missile in the middle of their party congress would save the world from the future catastrophe of WWIII.

The way you talk about liberals and democrats it does seem that you would praise whoever it was that managed to destroy what is basically half of your country, assuming of course that you are an American.
The people of China know what they have. Honest Americans are finding that what they thought they had is and has always been pretty iffy.
You condemn half the country and a country so divided cannot exist for long without killing each other as in civil war. Is that what you want?
