Reuters: Trump says being president has cost him $2 billion to $5 billion
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that being president has cost him between $2 billion and $5 billion that he would have made if he had continued running his business instead of getting into politics, a claim unsupported by evidence.
But, he told reporters, “If I had it to do it again I would do it in an instant, because who cares, if you can afford it, what difference does it make?”
There is no evidence that Trump lost billions since he became president. His net worth of $3.1 billion was unchanged from last year, Forbes Magazine said in March.
After Trump made a similar claim in August, Forbes wrote “Trump is not losing $3 billion to $5 billion. His income isn’t anywhere near $3 billion.”

WNU Editor: He had to put his businesses into a trust, so yes, he has lost a lot of business opportunities and partnerships because he is President. But is it between $2 billion to $5 billion? To me that is a high number, but real estate is very funny. In a booming market developers do make a lot of money, and President Trump has been awol from one of the biggest run-ups in one of the biggest real estate booms of recent years. Case in point. Before running for President one of his closest friends is Aras Agalarov, a Russian developer who has made an enormous amount of money from Russia's property boom of the past few years. We all know through the Mueller investigation that President Trump wanted to go into joint ventures with Aras Agalarov in Russia before he made the decision to run for President. If he did pursue these ventures, I am sure he would have made a billion plus just from what I know about current Russian property values and development. On a side note. Aras Agalarov is one of many Russian "oligarchs" named in the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, CAATSA, signed into law by President Donald Trump in 2017.

all you have to do is check his taxes
The IRS did check his taxes. Are you alleging that arch liberal and wingnut Lois Lerner or one of her acolytes would not scrutinize Trump's tax returns to the nth degree?
Are you fucking high?
You might allege that a fellow left-winger like Lerner was not doing her job based on nothing.
After all many libtards like Hillary Clinton or Kimberly Atkins allege Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian spy based on nothing.
Kilroy sez:
Tulsi (see Newsweek) is being used by Russia..she is not a spy but being used...that is what is meant.
We do not have access to Trump taxes. The Supreme Court is going to get this fast-tracked issue soon.
Kilroy,
Your name is being used by a Russian hacker to spread misinformation.
"We do not have access to Trump taxes. "
Who is a "we" Kemo sabe?
Are you alleging that IRS workers have not seen and reviewed Trunmp's tax returns?
Because, if you did, it would further prove your cupidity.
Kilroy checked with IRS...they have seen and can not talk about it. Barr in charge
You are so funny!
So Barr was in from January 2009 to January 2017?
It is scary to think you once graded papers.
