The Taiwan News reported that even though she graduated five years ago, Chairman Xi's daughter has returned to Harvard for graduate studies. The newspaper speculates that Xi sent her to protect her safety.
The Taiwan News said she may be unhappy with life in Red China.
The newspaper reported, "Some observers also consider the move to be a potential safeguard. Sending his daughter back to the U.S. might be considered a diplomatic measure to signal trust in Washington and also a means for Xi to remove his daughter from harm if factional struggles within the Communist Party were ever to threaten Xi’s grip on power."

It's possible that we are witnessing the coup against Xi takING place right now. The ethno-fascist Chinese state is FURIOUS with what is happening in Hong Kong. Xi is being openly mocked. Openly challenged. Insulted and laughed at. With a singular violence.
But Xi's ethno-fascist Chinese State is paralyzed. Made to appear impotent and foolish. Because of the modern technology the Chinese have pirated, stole, copied and spread.
Too many people are witness to the Hong Kong uprising. "We ain't in Tiananmen Square anymore, Toto!"
Someone wrote here recently that if the Chinese were to crack down on Hong Kong, they should "get on with it" to somehow mitigate the damage to there financial hub.
I believe the damage is already done - and done such that the power it enjoyed previously will not ever return in terms of confidence, stability and capitol investment potential - to Hong Kong. No matter what they do. No one trusts them.
The Chinese communist autocrats started this. They lied. They reneged on a treaty to preserve the capitalist autonomy of Hong Kong that was to be secure until 2047.
They've lied and schemed and back-stabbed and deceived cheated their way to the top tier power place-holder that they are. (pretending to be)
I say Death To China. Death their leadership. Death to their people. Death to the global plague of their rapacious disease. Death to the filthy Chinese virus.

A friend of mine is married to a Chinese guy who has worked in China and thereabouts all his life. He is now managing a manufacturing plant well inside China. If you ask him a question about anything at all not even about China, when he is back in Canada what you get is either silence, or, a non discript casual comment about the Blue Jays etc., so ingrained in him is the need to not express opinions about anything, anywhere, anytime.
Sort of a "you have relatives now living in china?" kind of thing. For that matter, if you are at all concerned about such things, be careful what you post on this site.
Remember how upset Anon can get and screw up, emitting a post with not a little broken English or at minimum very poorly thought out nasty stuff obviously designed to get you post a response that throws all such caution to the wind.
