The Hill: Putin says he doesn't mind if his calls with Trump are disclosed
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday backed away from statements made previously by Kremlin officials about his calls with President Trump, telling reporters that he would not object to transcripts being made public.
Multiple news outlets reported that Putin made the remarks after meeting with Iran's Hassan Rouhani, telling journalists that there was nothing on his calls with Trump that could compromise the U.S. president.
“My previous life taught me that any of my conversations may be published, and I always proceed from this,” Putin said, referring to his past in Russia's intelligence service, according to Russian news site Sputnik.

WNU Editor: He knows that he cannot influence another country's decision to make public his phone calls, and vice versa, no other country can tell him on what to do with his phone calls. But it is an unwritten rule among diplomats and leaders that phone calls between leaders are kept private unless both agree to make it public.

This whole thing is so ridiculous. at almost every office/leadership job you're on conference calls all day and people are listening in... when two state leaders talk of course you have several people on the line, transcribing, taking notes, silently advising and on and on. That people believe Trump - the most investigated president of all time - would be so dumb is cringeworthy. ..they really must tell themselves that his IQ is below 120. Are you even paying attention to what's happening? He's killed every single opponent in direct discussions - despite being almost entirely new to politics. So you're telling me a guy who made billions and billions before he fucked up (when after the Reagan era the economy tanked and he couldn't finance his casino) then came back and made some more billions. You tell me that guy is sooooooo stupid but you all are so smart. Really? Not saying you need to be smart to be rich. But he was almost self made. Sure, his dad gave him quite a good start and the first million is the hardest, I agree with all that, but getting from 12 million to xx billion overall (he accumulated more than 12bn over time but then lost half of it)..so he made x1000 more than his dad AND became president AND wins against China WHILE fighting the press. .you tell me that guy is a moron.
I think that's what delusion looks like :D
Reality will never intrude, anon. They're dimz, remember.

Nailed it!! The only thing I would add is he's had wins against Russia as well. By a number of accounts that the editor documented at the end of last neither Xi nor Putin had good years. Essentially Trump has had the number of both of these leaders. While the impeachment process has given tbem some hope, thus far 2019 doesn't seem to have been much better for them. IMHO the struggles of both men in 2018 and thus far in 2019 has been due to Trump's policies.
