Two prisoners were captured alive in the US strike that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley announced that two people had been taken into custody and are being held at a secure location during a press briefing alongside Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Monday at the Pentagon.
Milley did not reveal any additional information about the detainees or how they were connected to al-Baghdadi, but they are believed to have surrendered during the raid.
