Reuters: Exclusive: U.S. carried out secret cyber strike on Iran in wake of Saudi oil attack: officials

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States carried out a secret cyber operation against Iran in the wake of the Sept. 14 attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, which Washington and Riyadh blame on Tehran, two U.S. officials have told Reuters.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the operation took place in late September and took aim at Tehran’s ability to spread “propaganda.”

One of the officials said the strike affected physical hardware, but did not provide further details.

So they took out server farms it seems. Mhhh weak response it seems. Trump may be running into the trap of appearing to be a dove president at the wrong time. For example. .by not reacting strongly against Iran, other state actors might misread him and be emboldened to move/fully expecting him not to act if stakes are even bigger. The largest Bombardement he commanded was on an empty air field. If China north Korea or Russia misread this and believe he might back down in any scenario it might lead to a terrible miscalculation

SA is fully capable of a military strike and campaign against iran if they felt it was required. We are not their bodyguard. This cyber attack is only what we know they did. Iran is not going broadcast other cyber attacks or clandestine attacks that might have taken place. What do you think the proper response would be? How many iranian lives should that oil attack have costed, 100, 1000 1/2 million and another 10 years of war.

Trump claims to carry a big stick but never uses it, A is right, other dogs, are watching and eventually will bite.
Maybe trump should just shut up with his '' lock & loaded'' empty threats.
