CNN: Iraq protests death toll rises to 300 with nearly 15,000 injured
Baghdad (CNN)At least 301 people have been killed and nearly 15,000 have been injured in Iraq since the start of anti-government protests in October, the Independent High Commission for Human Rights of Iraq (IHCHR) said in a statement Saturday.
The higher death toll includes two people who were killed Friday in the southern city of Basra during violent protests, the IHCR said. Basra is an oil-rich city located some 450 kilometers (280 miles) south of Iraq's capital Baghdad.
Another 100 people were wounded in Basra as Iraqi security forces used teargas and live bullets

There is a definition of war that, if you have at least one government involved and 1,000 lives are lost in a year, it is a war.
The government would be the Iraqi Shia controlled one.
The two sides would be the people of Iraq and the government of Iraq. There is a schism.
We'll have unrest here in AMerica too. The Left keeps pushing.

In Seeking to Join Suit Over Subpoena Power, Mulvaney Goes Up Against the President
In effect, the acting chief of staff hopes the court will tell him whether to listen to his own boss, who wants him to remain silent, or to comply with a subpoena from the House, which wants his testimony.
Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was circumventing normal diplomatic channels to pressure Ukraine into launching political investigations that would be beneficial to the president. The witnesses also all expressed alarm that military aid to Ukraine had been withheld, and that the funds appeared to be at the center of a quid-pro-quo — money for investigations.

Much of this testimony had already leaked out prior to the release of the transcripts. But one thing that jumped out at me was the testimony of Vindman, a top National Security Council specialist on Ukraine, who said that he heard as early as June that a hold may have been placed on the aid — far earlier than the July 18 date that has been reported. He also testified that a top Ukrainian official began asking him about the aid in mid-August, debunking Trump and his allies’ claim that there couldn’t have a quid-pro-quo with the funds because the Ukrainains didn’t know about the freeze.

Basically the Dims are saying if you don't go through an ambassador, who 1/2 the time is an amateur appointed because they gave money or an FSO, then it is bad wrong or illegal.
So the Dims expect that if they shout this loud enough Republicans will fold whether or not their as any truth. But if Republicans fold the truth won't matter because the Dims will have .won and will write the rules and continue rewriting them, as the situation arises.
And if we dig enough we will find that Clinton or Obama did the same thing.
For instance what was Chalupa doing. Is she an FSO or Ambassador?
You got to love PhD's who are shit for brains.

But the one pivotal group showing the most evident signs of splitting from the president are white working-class women, according to a review of polling data, focus groups and interviews with more than a dozen party strategists and voters like Heather.
It's these voters packed in eastern Iowa, central Minnesota, southwestern Wisconsin, northern Ohio and throughout Michigan who will wield outsize influence over Trump's 2020 fate. Republican pollster Patrick Ruffini calls these women the essential voter as it relates to the Electoral College.
And at 11:46 AM the parrot tried to buck himself up.
The national security adviser said Vindman, who currently serves as the council’s Director for European Affairs, will be removed as a part of the White House’s “streamlining” efforts.
“My understanding is he’s–that Colonel Vindman is detailed from the Department of Defense,” O’Brien said. “So everyone who’s detailed at the NSC, people are going to start going back to their own departments and we’ll bring in new folks.”
When Brennan asked O’Brien to confirm that the decision is not retaliation against Vindman, whom Trump has baselessly accused of being a “Never Trumper,” the national security adviser’s response was that he personally had never retaliated against anyone.
“I never retaliated against anyone,” he said. “There- there will be a point for everybody who’s detailed there—that their time, that their detail will come to an end.”
As the NSC’s expert on Ukraine who was also on Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president in July, Vindman provided key information to House impeachment investigators on Trump’s use of American foreign policy to obtain political assistance from Ukraine.
Trump has attacked him and other witnesses amid the investigation, baselessly claiming that they are “Never Trumpers.” Last week, Trump threatened to release information on Vindman “real soon” that supposedly proves that the colonel is anti-Trump.
And Fred start shouting again in bold font, because that makes his argument stronger.
Or so he believes
