The XX Committee: Top German Spies Unload on Merkel’s Kowtowing to Putin
One of the West’s open secrets is that Germany, Europe’s economic powerhouse, consistently behaves in an obsequious manner towards Vladimir Putin and his authoritarian Russia. Time and again, Berlin has refused to confront the Kremlin over its egregious misconduct – from espionage to subversion to terrorism – while throwing NATO allies under the bus to keep Moscow happy.
Angela Merkel, who has been chancellor for 14 years, is no different from Germany’s political class, which seeks to stay in Putin’s good graces at seemingly any cost. Berlin’s preachy pontifications about democracy, decency, and human rights are customarily aimed at NATO allies, seldom at Moscow.
For years, German intelligence higher-ups have chafed at this situation, viewing the Kremlin as a threat to NATO, the European Union, and German security, while Merkel and her ilk pretend otherwise. The spies finally had enough this August when Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, a Georgian of Chechen background living in Germany as a political exile, was assassinated in a Berlin park in broad daylight. His killer was a Russian thug with easily detectable ties to the Kremlin.

- Enough said.
Germany has had a few terrible leaders over the last couple of decades.. imagine what this country could do if they had proper leaders? (nonono, not that kinda leader haha.. I mean not people like Gerhard Schroeder or Merkel who both cowtowed to Russia.. remember when Schroeder lost his reelection, embarassed himself on national television being half drunk? He was desparate.. the next week he started to work for GASPROM! Revolving door anyone? And Merkel single handedly almost destroyed EU with her stance on Greece, her non-cooperation with the US since Trump got into office, her undefunding and demoralizing of German troops, how the migrant crisis killed people and she had no plan "we can do it".. and then she admitted she was wrong.. and no plan still... and Brexit also was caused by her.. the Brits saw all this and cited Germany's actions under Merkel.. they cited what happened to Greece.. they cited what happened with the migrants that Merkel led in.. direct connections.. and I can tell, I am in London, hear it everyday. Merkel is perhaps one of the worst chancellors of Germany - close call between her and Schroeder
Hitler is resting easier in Hell. Merkel is a worse leader than him.
Putin’s dachshund?
World leaders have more in common with each other than the people they represent.
