Reuters: Exclusive: U.S. military completes pullback from northeast Syria, Esper says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States has completed its military pullback in northeastern Syria, settling into a more stable posture of about 600 troops in the rest of the country after repositioning and reducing forces, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said.

Esper’s remarks in an interview with Reuters could signal the end of a period of turbulence and uncertainty surrounding the U.S. military presence in Syria after President Donald Trump’s initial withdrawal order in October.

Since then, troop levels in Syria have fallen about 40 percent from around 1,000.

Esper stressed he retained the ability to move in and out smaller numbers of forces as needed into Syria. But he suggested the number of troops will fluctuate around the 600-level for the foreseeable future.

Since a mean, nasty no-good Democrat shill brought it up

barron. ORIGIN: germanic / english (anglo-saxon) NAME ROOT: (BARO) (BEORN > BERNUZ) MEANING: The name means “noble man or noble warrior”.

I have seen 1 or 2 people named Governor.

A lot of peple are named King (see Ryan or Wang) or Lord (see raj)

Pamela Karlan is so stupid that I bet her her only language is English and she does not know it well at all. Any bets if Pamela knows that a cognate of her surname is Charles or what it means?

Karlan probably does not know Hebrew, Yiddish, or German or much of anything except Leftist dialectic.

I think she had a few points but the gentleman who spoke last (the one republican leaning ) made the most sense and he could win his arguments eloquently, brought a mature perspective on impeachment standards and was using a good sense of humour to win people over. Compare that to her combative shriek of "I scream at you so you better take what I say as absolute because of my -insert meaningless experience title- "..so yeah overall I agree with you. .certainly not someone who could lead and perhaps not someone who should advise public bodies with such partisan motivation. Trump is truly a Rohrschach test. Democrats see evil bigot who's a super racist out to destroy America while buddying up with Putin; republicans look at the gdp, nato funding, unemployment rate of all races and think. .this guy is alright and if he wants to exercise his right of free speech then I'm OK with that because this is fckin America.
