This Is How Bad The FBI's Russia FISA Request Was

John Solomon Reports: Just how bad was the FBI’s Russia FISA? 51 violations and 9 false statements

To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report.

Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true.

The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.

A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting document shows that the factual assertion is
inaccurate.”

For those who don’t speak IG parlance, it means the FBI made nine false assertions to the FISA court. In short, what the bureau said was contradicted by the evidence in its official file.

WNU Editor: The above reporter John Solomon is despised by the main stream media and from many Democrats. He is now rubbing salt in the wounds of those who have been saying for years that he was wrong. As to the report itself,  former FBI Director James Comey has a different point of view .... The truth is finally out. The FBI fulfilled its mission (James Comey, Washington Post). What's my take. Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s probe and report was focused on only one secret FISA application. Are there more disasters out there that we do not know?

Update: Why am I not surprised .... IG Report Reveals James Comey Lied To Fox News Anchor Bret Baier About Steele Dossier (The Federalist).

2020 should see a lot of high ranking collars being felt. Should be interesting. Unless Pres Trump is driven past a grassy knowl. Then while low level official(s) who no one has ever heard of is/are banged, up the whole attempted coup will be put quietly to bed.

People have been pointing out that the errors all went against Trump. That is the errors are non-random. It is like flipping a coin 17 times in a row and getting heads each time.

One error in particular made a sentence into the exact opposite meaning. That is one which stated that Carter Page was a CIA asset with good results. Kevin Clinesmith purposefully change the meaning of the statement to its opposite. IG Horowitz might allege that he does not know intent, but really the only way that flies is if lawyer Cinesmith spent years in remedial English.

"No bias whatsoever found in IG Report"

The MSM and the Dems are hanging their entire template on that statement. Only thing is, is that it's absurd. And everyone knows it. The IG can only state in his report what people testify to - what their answers are.

"Mr. Comey, are or were you biased against President Trump?" Comey, "why no, Mr. IG, not at all." IG, "Well okay then, no bias."

And they just ignore the rest of the report which is damning.

Give me a f'n break.

Can you say "Soft Landing"? I am sure everyone was in the loop with this statement.
