USA Today: Russians hacked Ukraine company Burisma at heart of Trump impeachment, cybersecurity firm says
WASHINGTON – A computer security company reported Monday that Russian hackers sought access to the Ukraine gas company at the heart of the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, and House Democrats warned the move threatened to interfere with the 2020 election.
Area 1 Security, a California company focused on email security, reported that members of Russian military intelligence known as the GRU launched a campaign in early November to steal email credentials from workers at Burisma Holdings.
The eight-page report does not say what information, if any, the GRU obtained or what it was looking for. The firm also did not speculate as to the GRU's motivations. But the target and timing of the apparent hacking, which happened in the middle of a presidential race and a House impeachment inquiry against Trump, quickly raised concerns among Democrats that Russia may be using similar hacking techniques to interfere in the 2020 presidential election.

WNU Editor: So a single cybersecurity start-up, whose founder is a Democrat working with 2020 Democrats and who won’t say anything about how he knows that the hacking actually happened, comes out and says that Russia hacked the Ukraine company Burisma that is also at the heart of the current impeachment of President Trump. And right after that, the main stream media repeats his claims and Democrat politicians demand an investigation and hearings .... while also providing zero evidence. the evidence is being submitted to the Senate and they will know what you allege is either strong evidence or partisan nonsense. Relax then.
The case for calling witnesses in the Senate’s impeachment trial of President Trump, and for subpoenaing documents that the White House has withheld from Congress, is now too compelling to deny. There is so much public support for hearing all the relevant evidence, and not just among Democrats, that it is becoming politically toxic for increasingly many senators to resist doing so. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell’s efforts to bury the truth and turn the trial into a whitewash with a quickly delivered foreordained conclusion have all but come to naught, thanks in large part to the patience and savvy of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who wisely resisted the pressure to transmit the two articles of impeachment within days of the House vote impeaching Trump.

/Yep, The Dems have it "all figured out" This morning Nancy (in all her patience and savvy) introduced her impeachment managers, a noble, prayerful and solemn demonstration of diversity including a black male and female and a white male and female.
Also included as managers are Nadler and Schiff. /Because nothing inspires the hearts of the American electorate like the wisdom, images and sayings of those two weasels.
They include the latter so as to prevent them from being called as witnesses. But that would be wrong. The Dems used the same lawyer (Barry Berke) as a witness and questioner.
The Democrats have set themselves up to be hung by their own petards. This is not a new phenomenon. There are several examples of Dems setting rules and precedents that have come back to bit them.
Meanwhile the stock market, perhaps the most reliable gauge of public concern with the impeachment* (coup attempt) goes up to all time highs again today.
Seriously, Democrats are like feral cats. Pissing on everything.
One thing that is certain in US politics is that the wealthy control the country and while the show must go on, if the wealthy are content to leave Trump in to the end of his term, he will stay.
Now if John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States has the integrity to do his job, he will disallow McConnell, Graham, both of whom have publicly stated their partiality, oath notwithstanding, in favor of Trump and any other Senators of either party, so inclined.
As for the stock market how is your 401k doing. According to Trump it should be up somewhere between 50% and 80%.

Being a very wealthy and powerful American - with large stock holdings - my portfolio is doing fantastic.
And as far as Chief Justice Roberts adhering to your ridiculous definition of integrity and denying due process to the the Senate majority. prepare to be disappointed.
You will likely see a slew of witnesses demanded by the Dems denied (justly and lawfully) by executive privilege. While forcing the attendance and very uncomfortable testimony from the likes of Schiff and the Biden Crime Family. It will be amazing to witness the violent petulance when Dems are forced to follow the actual rule of law. And be denied the ability to twist events and lie outrageously to fix the outcome.
It will be delicious!
As I said, more or less, the fix is in and I have no doubt Roberts will take a dive. As Pelosi said to Trump, you will have the stain of impeachment for life, irrespective of the verdict. They will likely go back at it for emoulments if he gets re-elected.
Hard to imagine anyone of considerable means would waste their time on this site. I can barely squeeze the time I give and I am retired.
