Reuters: Iraqi parliament passes resolution to end foreign troop presence
BAGHDAD, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Iraq’s parliament passed on Sunday a resolution telling the government to end the presence of foreign troops in Iraq and ensure they not use its land, air, and waters for any reason.
“The government commits to revoke its request for assistance from the international coalition fighting Islamic State due to the end of military operations in Iraq and the achievement of victory,” the resolution read.

The Iraqi government will now need to approve it, but that is not going to happen right now .... U.S. Troops Unlikely to Be Forced Out of Iraq Despite Calls for Their Expulsion, Analysts Say (Newsweek). The current Prime Minister is in a care-taker role, and the Sunni-Kurd opposition do not favour this move. Iraq is now deeply split not only along sectarian lines, but many within Iraq's Shiite community have been leading the protest movement against the Iranian influence in the country, and the corruption that they have spawned.

MiSSION ACCOMPLISHED.
CHUDS. All it took was bunch of war crimes, a million or so murdered Iraqis and others since '91, and good 'ole American exceptionalism.

And the contractor who was killed on Friday (December 27, 2019) was killed following a formal declaration of war by Iran?

Antitroll you should do some charity work. Give back to the community. Visit a special needs center, open your mouth and thus let the kids know that it could be worse. They could be you.
Worth noting, though, that Sadr, possibly the most influential independent voice in the Shia community, has called for a "humiliating" expulsion of American troops. Up until now he was quite skeptical of Iran, though, preferring to speak against both foreign powers meddling in Iraqi affairs. I suspect that the Shia may consolidate around pro-Iranian and anti-American politics now.
Well now more people will be killed and for sure some will be Amreicans.
