President Donald Trump threatened Sunday to slap sanctions on Iraq after its parliament passed a resolution calling for the government to expel foreign troops from the country.

Tensions in the Middle East spiraled last week after Trump called for a U.S. airstrike in Baghdad that killed a top Iranian general, Qasem Soleimani.

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, the U.S. president said: “If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame.”

Wtf is he doing?
I like him but killing Iran's favourite general was a bit much. Not saying they shouldn't have done something and I also agree that there is some justice to it that the guy in command and not his soldiers got killed. .but he was more than a general in Iran. But OK.

But hitting Iraq with sanctions AFTER you accused the previous Iraqi government of having WMD and then being wrong and hundreds of thousands of civilians dead. Iraq is a sovereign country.

I just don't get what he thinks this will do. The Iranians will not back down because he made it personal.

These are the flaws with Trump. Everyone makes excuses for him.

Trump is bordering on insanity, although, many believe he has already achieved that level.

As a business man anyone who did business, legal business, with him lost. Some who did illegal business with him have lost and are in jail. One for sure is dead.

He is the President of the major power in the world, but, the head of any country that negotiates with Trump is a fool. He will renege whenever the mood or the perceived need to look strong hits him.

What he is doing are the actions of a person that is desperate to show the world, the people who elected him, that he can accomplish something, anything with no regard to consequences of his actions.

The truth is that he cannot do good, it is not in him to do good, and his few meager attempts have been overshadowed by the evil he has done.

Should he win re-election? No. But it is likely he will because he appeals to the basest and/or desperate desires of many disillusioned people who have lost much during the last 50 years, or, so and hope against hope that he will deliver. He won't deliver. With the path it is on America is no longer a country that that can deliver good to its people and in way is Trump going to change that.

Its soul has been sold out to the wealthy.

..and out come the frightened worry warts. Let not your fragile hearts be troubled. The killing of QS was really not that big of a deal - in terms of what Iran's response will be. You have to ask your self, What is Iran actually capable of? Once you answer that question honestly, the less frightened and timid you will be.

Russ.. they are easily capable of buying a nuke on the black market -maybe already have a few-and setting it of in NYC

And that's not even trying hard

"I like him but killing Iran's favourite general was a bit much. "

Favourite? Sleight of hands there in your choice of words. He was not only their favorite general, but also their best. It should give the Iranians pause that their smartest guy was taken out.

Qasem Soleimani killed a lot of American soldiers. He had it coming.

Russ you worry? I worry. But I do not worry like the other two above such that I would get on my knees and beg and whatever else.

Maybe they need hormone replacement therapy. One of them is 76 and not in too good of shape. 'Prolly' has low T. Prolly always had low-T.

Again, all I can say is that all the WWIII/doom-saying is being spouted by the very same mouths that have been lying to us for the last three years. The same spokes-holes and politicians who've been lying through their teeth for the entirety of Trump's presidency. Wrong on the election. Wrong on "Russian Collusion". Wrong on every aspect of the Mueller Report. Wrong on the economy, Wrong on Ukraine, etc.. All they do is spew their petty Trump hate and cheer for injury to the US and its citizens so they can wedge themselves back into power. I'm totally fed up with it.

And frankly I don't think Iran can or will detonate a back market nuke in NYC. I think the Mullahs enjoy their conveniences and luxuries too much to jeopardize the status quo. Not that a "black market nuke" even exists in the first place.

I hope we kill more of these Iranian pigs. The more the merrier. Faster/harder.

Cohen is in jail because he cheated on taxes on the taxi cab business. He did that on his won. Donald Trump was not his partner in that business.

But sticking to the facts was never a strong point for Robert.

I 1/2-way do not blame Cohen. The NYC government have made the taxicab business insane. An honesty hard working Haitian immigrant living in the Red Hook District cannot get a medallion because of corrupt Democrat Party politics. That Democrat corruption led others to be corrupt like Cohen.

To much Hollywood, no you can't buy nukes on the blackmarket, it's been tried and failed.

Anon

How has Trump improved your life, enriched you, specially that is?

Since assuming his job he has worked hard to enrich himself, something a President is not supposed to do, and all at American's expense and very publicaly. Has he brought back jobs, no. Has he increased costs to you for various imported products? Yes. Are you one of the wealthy that got massive tax rebates? I doubt it but your trolling fees are probably worth something.

Do some research on lost or missing nukes. Black market nukes are likely not available but if a foreign entity that has nukes wanted to plant one in America I would think arrangements could be made. And don't rule out members of the US military going rogue.

Killing the Iranian general was nothing but a deflection that has all the earmarks of backfiring on American military personnel.

Troll,

The word you were searching in vain for was specifically not specially.

You should sue your TESL teacher.

"Has he brought back jobs, no." - Moron

Unemployment Rate (%): 3.5 Nov 2019

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/indicators

Tax rates came down.
FROM TO_ Single_________ Married
15% 12% $9,525-$38,700 $19,050-$77,400
25% 22% $38,700-$82,500 $77,400-$165,000

For most people they came down 3% and sometimes 4%. For the highest bracket they came don 2.6%

"Do some research on lost or missing nukes. Black market nukes are likely not available "

Do some research on isotopes. The mine and manufacturing plant of a nuke can be deduced even after a nuke explodes.

Isotope analysis is widespread throughout the sciences. Maybe you would know that, if you had a modicum of scientific literacy. Archaeologists use it all the time to deduce the diet and geographical origins of ancient people.

"Black market nukes are likely not available"

And that is why the US paid Soviet scientists to not leave the former USSR after the fall of the corrupt socialist system. The CIA and others are tracking this stuff all the time.

We're sure that you were at full mast while typing. Sorry to rain on your parade. But look at the bright side. It makes for a safer environment for your computer.

"Killing the Iranian general was nothing but a deflection"

Rocket attack on a US base killing a contractor and the US embassy was invaded. Things were hotting up and Bobo asserts that it was deflection.

So what have we learned?

We have learned that Bob is a dishonest, lying moron.

Sorry Anon you are wrong. Using the U-3 rather than the U-6 number of 6.5% is highly misleading and in no way relates to "bringing back jobs". You might consider looking into the types of jobs created such as massive numbers of people hired temporarily to work on the national census or the 60,000 job increase in the social services sector.

Besides as I have said, the harm he has done outweighs any good he credits himself with and you have failed to refute that statement.

He is enriching himself at your expense and you do not seem to be aware of that. Is that because you are unemployed and don't pay taxes? You know, living off welfare and maybe your wife?

Anonymous said...

U6 is down too.

https://unemploymentdata.com/current-u6-unemployment-rate/

I addressed several of the wild-ass guesses/statements/assertions that you made, but not all of them.

In return you complain that I did not address them all and only laughably try to refute 1 and bring up another.

You say Trump is borderline. Are you a psychologist or did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
