Some Messaging From Iran That The U.S. Should Not Respond To Iran's Missile Attacks

WNU Editor: The Iranian foreign minister message that "the regime could do more, but the U.S. should accept this strike and not respond" is nonsense. If there are US casualties, expect a major US response.

I hope they aren't too attached to their naval fleet...

There needs to be a major response regardless of loss of life, Kim is watching.

Very respectfully this costs you nothing. As an Aussie, your loved ones are in no danger. As an American, the heads of my loved ones are on the chopping block. Get this wrong and its devastating for us. What course of action is decided upon will need to be prudently and soberly considered.

Frankly taking out Soleimani was a tactically brilliant operation. As for strategically smart, the jury is still out so to speak. I've done much reading on this. While I can understand why Trump gave the order when the opportunity presented itself, I have my doubts as to the ultimate efficacy of this. While I can't say for certain, had I been POTUS I probably wouldn't have given the order. With that said I'm NOT grieving the death of the monster.

For better or worse, Iran doesn't particularly scare me. While they can inflict much harm on us, I don't think they can defeat us. On the other hand, Russia and China especially Russia scare me as they should scare all Americans. This does NOT mean we capitulate to them. They do need to be treated with healthy respect. Russia and China have been staunch Iranian allies. They could do much to hurt us with regards to our actions against Iran. Thus far they haven't. Why is this so? Trump diplomacy perhaps? I think so. The painstaking efforts to forge constructive relations with the leaders of these powers seems to be paying off.

Soleimani was one of the most powerful people in the world. It seems Russia and China weren't protecting him as they could have. Trump diplomacy at work? Can't be 100% certain but I think so. Iran wanted to buy the Russian S400 air defense system a few months ago. Russia didn't sell it to them. Trump diplomacy I think.

Thus far there appears to be no Anerican casualties. Trump is not addressing the nation tonight. He is patiently taking his time to assess things and will respond accordingly after consultations with multiple sources. Pray that Anerican leadership gets this right.

It certainly could be. Something doesn't look right. Iran's attacks on the Saudi oil facility and our embassy were complete duds. Now this. We need to be very prudent. Trump and his team appear to be moving quickly yet prudently. This is in contrast to the ill thought out here brained schemes that were Syria, Libya, and Ukraine.

Stop with this nonsense that only u. S is on the chopping block.
Do you think that perhaps Kim and China is watching the American response?
The U. S needs to respond in a limited manner and perhaps destroy the launch sites or a oil platform.
There is no detterent if the potus constantly barks and never bites.

Saudi attack was no dud, taking out a big chunk of production, bypassing their defences whilst receiving zero blowback.
Do you start to see the pattern of encouraging Iranian adventurisim by remaining impotent again and again.
Why is it that Iran eats 200 attacks from Israel with no response?, they bluff and bluff and its time they are called on it.

Looks like Putin could sell the U. S some Pantsir systems, no point defence on a major airbase?
