Corona virus is not a big deal. It is not killing more people than the flu.
Many of the people, who have died, were elderly or sick (pre-existing conditions). This is obviously not good, but everything should not come to a screeching halt.
One thing the Chinese government could do is apply the social credit system to the outbreak. When the Chinese government has to print pamphlets telling Chinese tourists not to spit on restaurant floors and to not defecate in dressing rooms, you know its bad.
It reminds me of the hygiene pamphlets put out during WW2. Obviously, everyone was not on the same page in America at that time. Seems like we are going backward though in great big strides in major cities.
Maybe the Singapore approach of caning would work in China and the US. Coming to Canada soon, too.
"Corona virus is not a big deal." This is true. The current hysteria is not warranted. Perhaps it is being whipped up as part of the pre-text for a government power grab.
You know who runs in a posse with ambulance chasers?

Maybe the internet and education has made the old way of news coverage obsolete. The varmints are trying to sell 'ink' with sensationalism instead of analytics.
