Asharq Al-Awsat: Brian Hook to Asharq Al-Awsat: Ghaani Faces Soleimani’s Fate if he Follows Similar Path

The US special representative for Iran, Brian Hook, has said that the successor to Iran's Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani would suffer the same fate if he followed a similar path of killing Americans.

After Soleimani’s killing on Jan. 3, Tehran swiftly appointed Esmail Ghaani as the new head of the Quds Force. He pledged to pursue Soleimani’s course.

Interesting. If the Mullahs want to get rid of a troublesome individual they can promote him to the top general job and not only let the US do the dirty work but bump of a couple/few American to boot. That would be effective delegation from their perspective that is.

Whether liked or disliked, whether amenable or troublesome, whether a great administrator or not, if some soldiers dies because that individual ordered it, do you really think that soldiers really cares if the Ayatollahs were playing politics?

Whether the Ayatollahs promote a troublemaker or a golden child to head the IRGC, the purpose of the IRGC remains the same.

But there goes our trolltard, Bob Huntley trying to spin things, shade things ... in short being a compleat ass.
