My Take On President Trump's Coronavirus Press Conference

WNU Editor: This news conference had to be above politics, and for the most part it was. The focus was on the professionals, and I found that they gave an informative update on where we are today with the coronavirus outbreak. Where President Trump did dive into politics was in regards to House Speaker Pelosi. Earlier in the day she was critical of President Trump, and everyone knew that he was going to respond. Ann Althouse sums it up perfectly ....

.... “Most of this press conference is above politics, and his answer to this question is, ultimately, that we need to work together and be above politics, but Trump dives straight into politics at this point, and he’s blunt and, I think, very effective. He says Pelosi is ‘incompetent’ and ‘not thinking about the country.’ He points to the doctors on stage with him and says they are ‘the most talented people in the world’ and ‘they shouldn’t be demeaned.’ He says, Nancy Pelosi knows what she is saying is not true, ‘she’s trying to create a panic,’ and she’s ‘trying to get a political advantage’ when what is needed is for everyone to work together.”

Will this end the politics behind this outbreak? Probably not. But those who do use this crisis to score political points will, IMHO, pay dearly when the voters go to the polls in November.

The Trump administration says the coronavirus vaccine might not be affordable for all Americans

A California coronavirus patient had to wait days to be tested because of restrictive federal criteria, despite doctors’ requests. The patient, who has tested positive, may be the first person to be infected through community spread in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday.

C.D.C. officials said it was possible the patient was exposed to a returning traveler who was infected. At the moment, however, the new case appears to be one in which the source of infection is unknown, suggesting that the virus may be transmitted within the community.

Following mounting bipartisan criticism that the administration’s response to the spread of the coronavirus had been sluggish, President Trump on Wednesday named Vice President Mike Pence to coordinate the government’s response, even as he repeatedly played down the danger to the United States of a widespread domestic outbreak.

"C.D.C. officials said it was possible the patient was exposed to a returning traveler who was infected."

Low lexile score person strikes again. What is in Northern California? The Air Force base, where returning corona patients from China arrive at. So they have not asked enough questions to see where everyone was to see how he got it. That is all. It is a game of 6 degrees of separation and it take s time to see who touched or was in the vicinity of whom.

Will we get an apology from low lexile score?

Do pigs fly?

PS: It is almost the 4th month of the "pandemic". Any dead Americans?

Will you still be screaming bloody murder in May?

Let me answer that for you, so we can have an honest answer.

The answer is yes. If the Democrat state media asks to to do so, you will.
