I think the 'science writer is wrong. Our concern is the flu not the corona virus, which is killing 89 year-olds or people with both diabetes and stroke (like in Wuhan). Do a Pareto analysis of the people, who died of the virus for God's sake and get a fucking clue. Actually do not do a pareto analysis . It would not help. You could not buy a clue if someone gave you a billion dollars.

My girlfriend was working in a retirement home a few years back and when the flu hit 20 residents died. At the time there was no pandemic on the scene.
