President Trump Says Coronavirus Under Control In The U.S.

Reuters: Trump says coronavirus under control in the U.S

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the coronavirus was under control in the United States, and added that he thought the stock market, which tumbled on Monday on worries over the fast-spreading disease, was “starting to look very good to me!”

“The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA,” Trump, who is visiting India, said on Twitter.

“We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!,” he said.

Reminder 35 total cases, Zero deaths and spring is approaching , which means flu and pneumonia season usually wanes. Not likely to be a major thing here in the USA. IMO

If the virus really took hold the impact on the existing healthcare systems in the US could be very telling and the negative financial impact on the middle class could really support Bernie's move towards a universal program.

There was a cholera pandemic in South America in the 1990s. In prosperous market driven countries people got sick, but the death toll was very low. In the countries that flirt with socialism the death toll was much higher. This was very telling.

The supple chain will be realigned. I look for the corana virus to have a positive impact on the US economy. Buy on the dip. Don't listen to the drip (8:08).

Anytime there is a problem this creates opportunities. This virus seems to be hitting America's competitors especially hard. As president Trump has pointed out, America has this under control. Based upon the track records I'd tend to go with Trump's judgement over that of the hysterical reporting contained in the Atlantic. Also, Trump exists under the largest and often uncomfortable microscope that any leader in world history has ever lived under. As such, he will choose his statements carefully so it's a reasonable conclusion that in the US this us under control.

With one of our chief competitors in China reeling from this an opportunity is created for someone. With the regulatory reforms and tax cuts put in place by Trump combined with his business acumen and negotiating skills Anerica is in a better position to capitalize on this than anyone else to capitalize on this. While China will recover from this, they will find it difficult if not impossible to get back from America the market share they lost. The supply chain will indeed be realigned. I predict this will be a major positive benefit to the American economy. China did this to themselves and only have themselves to blame.

I also noticed PresidentTrunp appears to have had a very good meeting in Indi . If the Indian leadership had any doubts about the outcome of our elections, they wouldn't have had this meeting no . They'd take a wait and see approach. By doing it now they seem to be signaling that they are expecting a Trump reelection.

With the combination of fracking and now this along with the very astute policies of Trump America us being positioned to be the world's dominant power. The Indian leadership and likely many others seem to be positioning themselves accordingly.

"that is NOT what is CDC has said today"

Can we translate that from bird to English?

Fun fact: the CDC head is the sister of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Coincidence?
