Probably didn’t see this coming and hence entering panic mode? https://t.co/CaNiImsqKz— Collin Koh (@CollinSLKoh) March 19, 2020
WNU Editor: My brother works with a number of pharmaceutical companies, and he told me last week that even if the Chinese offer to make the basic ingredients for much of our drugs/supplments/and vitamins for free, all the major US and European pharmaceutical companies are going to diversify out of China to other countries as well returning to the US. As he told me bluntly. They are done with China.

Trump wants to being back the jobs from China and as 'Dead Fish' says "Never let an opportunity go to waste."
Trump should tour pharmaceutical factories being brought back to America ahead of the election.
The chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee warned a small group of well-connected constituents three weeks ago to prepare for dire economic and societal effects of the coronavirus, according to a secret recording obtained by NPR.
The remarks from U.S. Sen. Richard Burr were more stark than any he had delivered in more public forums.
On Feb. 27, when the United States had 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19, President Trump was tamping down fears and suggesting the virus could be seasonal.
"It's going to disappear. One day, It's like a miracle. It will disappear," the president said then, before adding, "it could get worse before it gets better. It could maybe go away. We'll see what happens."
On that same day, Burr attended a luncheon held at a social club called the Capitol Hill Club. And he delivered a much more alarming message.
"There's one thing that I can tell you about this: It is much more aggressive in its transmission than anything that we have seen in recent history," he said, according to a secret recording of the remarks obtained by NPR. "It is probably more akin to the 1918 pandemic."
The luncheon had been organized by the Tar Heel Circle, a nonpartisan group whose membership consists of businesses and organizations in North Carolina, the state Burr represents. Membership to join the Tar Heel Circle costs between $500 and $10,000, and promises that members "enjoy interaction with top leaders and staff from Congress, the administration, and the private sector," according to the group's website.
In attendance, according to a copy of the RSVP list obtained by NPR, were dozens of invited guests representing companies and organizations from North Carolina. And according to federal records, those companies or their political committees donated more than $100,000 to Burr's election campaign in 2015 and 2016. (Burr announced previously he was not planning to run for reelection in 2022).
And Parrot at 11:18 did not comment but just regurgitated something did not read, but he skimmed from Communist Party Legacy Media.
At least B Poster has to put a little effort into writing 5 paragraphs of BS. Parrot just regurgitates it.
IMO PArrot is a partisan hack, who has no brains.
What specifically is BS? I'm happy to discuss any specific issue.
As to COVID-19, the ultimate effects of this aren't known fully at this time. The government's reaction to this has been extremely destructive. This much is very clear right now.

About time!
Not fake news anonymous troll that just like to Tear some people down to try to shut them up. NPR is very respect. Quit trying to trample down on other peoples first amendment rights. You have nothing real to say.

Blackdog,
I used to listen to NPR driving everyday to and from base (15 minutes either way). Then another soldier told me about Rush. I haven't been back.
The NPR article is a partisan hatchet job paid for by tax money. It once again begs the question as to why we have them sucking at the the government teat like greedy piglets.
Do you have an answer?
"Look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous." - Juan Wiliams
Juan Williams got fired for that innocent remark.
NPR has taken clear, unmistakable partisan stand on almost every issue. They need to be defunded by the government. They can be spun off on their own and if there is a big enough market of mind numbed, robotic liberals and they compete for them well enough against other purveyors of liberal bile, they will survive. You need not worry.
Is it okay to fire people for what most people think and what can statistically be shown?
Would NPR Fire Jesse Jackson?
“There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.”
― Jesse Jackson
Black Dog be honest. Juan Williams was fired from NPR. Did his voice disappear from nationally commentary? No, he was hired by Fox and he is still liberal.
So why do we need NPR again?
You went to Rush a you then think you have Cred? Both you and he have none . Calling NPR a hatch job does not make it so. And pointing to Juan William and Jesse as people who lost jobs for speaking belies the other ones who lost their jobs like the ones on Fox news. What kind of points you trying to make there ? Just because you said NPR has taken “clear, unmistakable partisan stand on almost every issue “ doesn’t make it true. Not by a long shot. And speaking of partisans you listen to Rush. There is no bigger partisan hack than that one . So why do we need NPR again ? For its opinion and news. Which is not yours to silence because you disagree with it. Protect first amendment rights .
" Calling NPR a hatch job does not make it so"
And also a throw away non-argument by you.
You are what we say in wrestling a fish.
Calling NPR a hatch job does not make it so, but their poor track record does.
So why do we need NPR again? For its opinion and news. Which we can get many other places. So why do we need it again? the government is broke. Do you not understand that or are you mathematically illiterate and ditto for psychology and economics?
Rush is great and bold. He made the prediction 29 years ago that LGBT would become pro- choice. Are so bold or are you a mere shadow of person, a herd animal?
Williams got fired for voicing the fact that he was nervous among Muslims on an aircraft. When we hear of a plane hijacking or destruction we must go through the whole list of suspects such as the Amish. Those Amish are violent man. They've downed more planes than the Muslims ever have. Yup we wibs are schmart!
Whatever yellow dog
