The coronavirus death toll in the United States tipped over 7,000 on Friday with 929 new deaths in the last 24 hours.
The national total now stands at 7,007 deaths and 272,168 cases, a jump of 29,570 new cases since Thursday.
New York City remains the epicenter of the outbreak with 51,809 cases, up 3,936 in the past day. The Big Apple's deaths reached 1,562 on Friday, recording 278 new deaths since Thursday.

Yet it based upon "models" as to why we shut down whole segments of our economy. I've read that Dr. Fauci has beefed up his security. Could it be that Dr. Fauci and the other "experts" have figured out that their models that were used as justification to wreck whole segments of the US economy are flawed and it's not if but when they are going to be exposed? The "peasants" whom they seriously hurt will seek to mete out justice on Dr. Fauci. Another possibility is he expects to fully achieve the kind of control he wants. After all he has called for a nationwide shutdown. The economic devastation from such a move would be beyond anything we're currently experiencing. "Peasants" will become hungry and desperate. God forbid Fauci should have his five course steak dinner interrupted!! As such, he is beefing up his security.
