Bunch of horseshit.

What you measure gets solved or gets better.

It looks like a fire drill, where an organization know it is going to be inspected in one area. Say it is inventory accuracy. So they do audits. Find out that it is 70% pt 80%. They need 95% to 99% or better to pass. So they create a Tiger team, the accuracy up, and the inspectors come and all is good. 6 months later after other inspections for other things and the daily job grind, inventory accuracy is back down to 70%.

Rinse and repeat.

No actual process improvement has occurred. No slacking a month workers or management, but no improvement has occurred. It is sort of like an average or good person can juggle 6 objects, but their job requires that they juggle 10.

They will tackle Corona in the next year. Congratulations will go around many or most deserved and a few not. And the next pandemic will still catch WHO and other flat footed because there is not an even pull in effort wit the muckrakers and politicians.

They will be giving away ventilators to everyone and their mother by June. There will be a of of waste. Al lot of the waste will be caused by jockeying pols and muckrakers. Economic resources will be misallocated on a large scale.

It's a effin flu, Jesus. Let people handle a flu like we always do. Do we sit at home during flu season? The world operates, weaker immune systems or elderly sadly pass but that's life. This is beyond stupid. So what if this is yearly? We shut down economy every year due to a flu?
Or do we wait for bill gates vaccine, he's probably testing on kids in India and will leave them paralyzed like last time. Do some Google searches on that douche bag

1st time I agree with Antitroll.

BTW Bill Gates ain't that smart. He isn't stupid, but he is no genius. He bought the disc operating system ((DOS). His mother knew the chairman of IBM, which was the company, where Microsoft got its big start.

Mr. Gates might have an IQ of 100, 120, or 140. I do not know. But he is no genius whereby if he says something, we need to stop everything and listen.

IMO (my opinion and 2 bucks will buy you a coffee) is that Gates retired from Microsoft, because as smart and knowledgeable as he was, he wasn't keeping up. Rather than looking ignorant, he retired.

If you want someone one, who his smart, then it would be the CEO of Apple. He's gay, but so what. He understands business and logistics. In the latter 1/2 of Apple's life so far, he is the guy who made Apple. It is why he is CEO. The Democrats should run him as their candidate.

Trump is a spiritual black hole. He has no ability to transcend himself by so much as an emotional nanometer. Even narcissists, we are told by psychologists, have the occasional dark night of the soul. They can recognize how they are perceived by others, and they will at least pretend to seek forgiveness and show contrition as a way of gaining the affection they need. They are capable of infrequent moments of reflection, even if only to adjust strategies for survival. Trump’s spiritual poverty is beyond all this. He represents the ultimate triumph of a materialist mindset. He has no ability to understand anything that is not an immediate tactile or visual experience, no sense of continuity with other human beings, and no imperatives more important than soothing the barrage of signals emanating from his constantly panicked and confused autonomic system.

The humorist Alexandra Petri once likened Trump to a goldfish, a purely reactive animal lost in a “pastless, futureless, contextless void.” This is an apt comparison, with one major flaw: Goldfish are not malevolent, and do not corrode the will and decency of those who gaze on them.
