Why should the US enforce the border with Canada, if little baby Trudeau allows people to illegally enter the US using Canada as a way point.
The US should do what Mexico does. Give illegals a 30 day pass to travel from southern US to Northern US to enter Canada. If the illegals appear contagious, they should be flown to the border and allowed to cross into Canada.
Every illegal crossing the US border instead of begin detained should be given pamphlets and flyers giving a side by side comparison of US and Canadian welfare benefits. Then they should be asked, if they want an all expense trip to the Canadian border.
