Mr Fang’s ‘crime’ was to post a video he had filmed of people dying of the virus and the body bags piled up outside a hospital clearly overwhelmed by casualties at a time when China insisted that the virus was under control. It was seen 200,000 times before censors took it down.

So why are Chinese people OK with this? Why do they all believe their government? I have a handful of Chinese friends - many I know for years, and most of them live in the West -- none of them believe the West, ALL of them believe what the Chinese government tells them. If that's integration then OMFG, and they are friends. Cannot imagine what people not friendly to us think. It's horrible to watch
China needs to be 100% TRANSPARENT about what happened to the brave doctors and whistle blowers. FFS the whole World wants to know. This is THE moment Chinese future will be defined. Do not fck this up, Xi. Your score card is like a F- already.

Lol unknown. I hope it's not the case.. but so many people seem to have disappeared, even residents in Wuhan seem to report that the cremation factories were running constantly. If that's the future under Chinese rule, then no thank you - we saw what Nazi Germany did, we don't need an ethno China state lying to us about a pandemic and then accusing us while our family members die. This is such an insult on top of all the death and economic loss they seem to have caused. I expect all western businesses (those that stayed when most companies started moving out over the last 2-3 years) to also leave now. Being associated with China as a business is financial suicide now
