Will Kim Yo-jong Be The Next Leader Of North Korea Should Her Brother Pass-Away?

Recently reinstated to the politburo, Kim Yo-jong’s public statements are watched as a signal of her brother’s position. Photograph: Jorge Silva/AP

The Guardian: Kim Yo-jong: the sister of Kim Jong-un, fast 'becoming his alter ego'

The North Korean leader’s trusted propagandist-in-chief is in the ascendancy

From producing an ashtray during a cigarette break en route to a nuclear summit to issuing a statement in praise of the US president, Kim Yo-jong has become the single most important figure in the North Korean regime after her brother, the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un.

Since representing Kim at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, Yo-jong has not only acquired prestigious titles within the ruling Workers’ party. She is rumoured to be the brains behind Kim’s carefully constructed public image, at home and abroad. In return, she enjoys the absolute confidence of her brother, a leader capable of ordering the execution of his own uncle for alleged treason.

As the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic – with Pyongyang continuing to insist it has not recorded a single case – Kim Yo-jong’s ascendancy continues.

Previous Post: Conflicting Reports That North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un Is In Critical Condition

WNU Editor: I remember when South Korean President Moon Jae-in met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the DMZ in 2018, the North Korean security presence around Kim Jong Un was enormous. I also noticed that his security detail was ignoring all the other North Korean leaders and Generals with the exception of one person, the leader's sister Kim Jo-jong .... A Closer Look At North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Un's Security Detail (May 19, 2018). Another thing that I saw at that summit was how all the North Korean officials present were deferential to her. They never initiated any conversation with her. It was the other way around. When she was talking with the officials that were present there, she was the one who initiated the conversation. She is also the only North Korean official that I know who has been present at every major North Korean foreign event for the past 6-7 years, and in some cases she was the only one there (Seoul Winter Olympics). Regular readers of this blog know that I have always viewed Kim Yo-jong as the defacto "Vice-President" of North Korea. I still see her as that.

With the same contemptuous, mackerel-eyes death stare as her inbred sibling. All she needs a is a red sash and some plastic bags.

Worth the price of admission.

That one is going, going, gone! Out of the park!

On what Russ said.

Maybe right. Men and women are all built on the same chassis. A omen navigates one way in a crowd. Put her behind the wheel and don't assume she is the weaker sex.

Somehow not having the same amount of testosterone will work out to the benefit of North Korea's neighbors is not safe bet. She won't be anything like those worthless Northern European minxes.

'No Unusual Signs' That Kim Jong Un's Health Is In Danger, South Korea Says

Oh look, the person, who posts NSFW stuff, so that a few people go to his website, spoke up.

It is not uncommon for intel services are wrong. It is not like the other side makes it easy.
Time will tell if the South Korean intel service is correct or others.

- Maybe Kim Jong Un is playing dead or weak to see who comes out of the woodwork.
- Maybe the North Korean press is telling the truth about heart surgery or maybe that cover story.
- Maybe South Korea is right

- Maybe someone is so invested in seeing his side is right and the other side is wrong that he gloms onto anything like suckling piglet.

Does the following mean anything to a squirrel or does the squirrel wait for a priest from the editorial board of the NYT to speak?

It i s from Wikipedia influenza virus entry

Influenza type A viruses are RNA viruses categorized into subtypes based on the type of two proteins on the surface of the viral envelope:

H = hemagglutinin, a protein that causes red blood cells to agglutinate.
N = neuraminidase, an enzyme that cleaves the glycosidic bonds of the monosaccharide sialic acid (previously called neuraminic acid).

There are 18 known types of hemagglutinin and 11 known types of neuraminidase, so, in theory, 198 different combinations of these proteins are possible.

When the U.S. military had a chance to take out Osama bin Laden back in the 1990s — after tracking his location with the help of Afghan tribal informants — they couldn’t do so because of an order signed by then-President Bill Clinton, a new documentary reveals.

Of course the Wib did!

Dumb is as a Democrat does.

All I want to say is that she deserves a really good style makeover.

Perhaps some highlights in her hair, some nice earrings (my wife has loads to give to her), some better fitting outfits (French styling will suit her figure) and a pair of designer heels.

A bit of red lippy wouldn't go amiss. She has good lips but a hint of a pout.

Finally, sunglasses. Anna Wintour style.

why is girl/boy so obsessed with someone who comments here. All he ever does, says, is to nag, belittle, babble about someone. Must have this from early years. His so-called parents bare the blame

But for weeks, as the outbreak raged on, Trump's administration continued to allow foreign workers to enter and even eased requirements for immigrants to get certain jobs, such as farmworkers, landscapers and crab pickers, and altered some paperwork mandates, including allowing electronic signatures and waiving the physical inspection of documents.

On Friday, the administration temporarily removed some limitations on agricultural workers, including allowing them to stay in the United States beyond the three years maximum limit.

"But for weeks, as the outbreak raged on ..."

American newspapers are generally written a simply mas possible so as to attract the largest audience. Multiple source say that they are written at the 6th to 8th grade reading level.

In 6th to 8th grades kid are or should be learning concepts in statistics and calculus.

To really be at a 6th or 8th grade reading level, you should be at a 6th or 8 the grade mathematics level (or better). Otherwise, you are just being led by the nose, whenever you read something by an unscrupulous writer. Also what is the point of you posting? You add nothing. Can figure out nothing. And are nothing but a human xerox machine.

More Than 400,000 In L.A. County May Have Already Had Coronavirus, New Study Finds

Cold virus rages on.

You realize in the past as it is now that 10% to 15% of cold viruses are actually corona and not rhino viruses. So really there is nothing novel about this virus. the only knew thing is that genetic sequencing keeps falling in price according to Moore's law. It was always out there, but we assign this disease erroneously in the past to the cold (rhino) virus, influenza or said it was idiosyncratic. That is we didn't know.

My parent came back form an overseas trip awhile back. They were seated next to a nurse, who opined that she didn't know what people were all excited about, since corona virus was just a 'cold' virus.

When you calculate rates like death rates or infection rates, it pays to get the denominator right and not just focusing in the numerator. Now, if we all learned that you did not know a denominator from a prognosticator, we would not be surprised one iota.

More hard hitting news from the seagull that shits and flies away only to return to shit and fly away again.

So the squirting seagull linked to Boing Boing. that is a hard hitting news organization. More like the drive by type.

They cribbed off of a Military.com article & DW.com articles.

"The physicians in Brazil noticed arrhythmia (significant extension of the so-called QT interval) within two to three days in patients receiving the high dose. "

Glenn Beck had a doctor on and he talked about the QT interval. Obviously, the doctors got the dosage wrong. Unfortunately, Glen does not transcribe his radio show like Rush does. Maybe an excerpt is on The Blaze.

"The nationwide study was not a rigorous experiment. "

These drugs have been used for 90 to 100 years or more. That the patients were given too much says more about the doctors than the drugs. We are taking about drugs here not the usual "More is better".

I know of quinine from the book "Death in the Long Grass." An excellent read. But the author was a hunter, so a seagull being the lockstep, knee jerk, fascist foot soldier that it is, need not read it. What is the point of mentioning the book. Quinine has been around a long time, used a long time and is well known. The problem is not the drug, but maybe medical malpractice.

Fun Fact: Pete learned Swahili as a child in the US, because he was so fascinated by Africa.

Wasn't the seagull fulminating about what a bad guy Richard Burr was a few weeks ago?

But now he is the saviour.

Typical.

Once upon a time a long time ago (2 months), state governors were weeping about the piles of dead bodies they were going to have on their hands because there was a severe shortage of ventilators.

Disease is never good, but you know it is not dire, when they engage in an all out political assault.

Either that or Fredos like cuomo cannot add.
