Moscow Times: 400 Russian Cadets Infected With Coronavirus After Moscow V-Day Rehearsals – Proekt
At least 376 Russian cadets have been infected with the coronavirus after participating in rehearsals for the postponed Victory Day parade in Moscow’s Red Square, the Proekt investigative website reported Monday.
Russia marked the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II with only military plane flyovers and a fireworks display Saturday. The last rehearsal for the parade took place on April 16, the day when Putin postponed the event and vowed to hold it later in 2020, an unnamed participant told Proekt.
The virus broke out among officers and cadets in at least five elite Russian military academies and one regiment — out of the more than 40 involved — following the parade rehearsals, Proekt cited participants and their relatives as saying.

How many died?
How many are permanently disabled?
Did any lose lung function (Pulmonary function tests or PFT)?
Did any have blood clots that damaged them?
We were told that over 50% of us were going to be exposed and/or catch corona with a lockdown or no lockdown.
The purpose of the lockdown was to slow the spread so as to not overwhelm the hospital system.
Now, dishonest people say the purpose of the lockdown is to wait until we get a vaccine. There never has been a vaccine for corona or rhino viruses. There is no true vaccine for influenza.
The true purpose now of lockdown is as a tool for Democrats to capture power and to this time never give it up.
Nikita Khrushchev would never have done this. He started out life too close to the earth to be foolish. He might not have had the V-day parade, but IMO he would not shutdown an economy for 3 months.

With a very few exceptions this didn't happen, it didn't come close to happening, nor is it likely to happen. Since it didn't happen nor us ot likely to happen, we should be able to reopen the economy now. Obviously there appears to be another agenda at work here.

I've seen at least several sources that suggest lockdowns only delay the inevitable. I hope and pray they are incorrect. Essentially this would mean, if we did nothing or if we lockdown, the end result of 2.2 million dead as predicted happens anyway. It just happens later with the lockdown and the lockdown carries with it significant economic costs which also adversely health. If accurate, we'd have been better off to do nothing.
New Cases per day have remained about the same for the last few days. This makes me skeptical that social distancing or lockdowns are even working. We're asked to trust the "experts" and take it on blind faith!!
The virus itself has yet to have a deep impact on American society. On the other hand, the government's reaction to it has had a HUGE impact and it hasn't been good.
