AFP: As lockdowns lift, 'second wave' concerns grow
Paris (AFP) - As several nations begin relaxing their lockdowns following an initial peak in COVID-19 cases, attention is turning to how they can avoid a "second wave" of infections as social distancing is eased.
Italy and Spain -- two of the hardest hit countries -- have already started allowing people outside to exercise for the first time in nearly two months, and several US states are allowing businesses to reopen.
In France, where confinement measures are set to lift on May 11, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said there is a "fine line" between lifting restrictions on movement and avoiding a new surge in infections of a disease that has killed nearly a quarter of a million people globally.

WNU Editor: Fortunately summer is around the corner, and the expectation is that the impact of the coronavirus will be minimal. The worry is later this year, when the climate will be more suitable for the spread and transmission of this disease.

There may never be a good time for a person 70 and over to get COVID.
But if there is, then summer would be it.
People 107 have beat this disease.
To cut your risk in 1/2 in the US, Do not go to NY and definitely do not get hospitalized in NYC or you will be culled.
I'm not sure. First, the southern hemisphere will be going into winter. Second, the fact that it's spreading in warm countries like in the Middle East proves it's not limited by temperature. A couple of the worst places that got it in the States were New Orleans and Southern Florida.
Your brain starts to have its proteins denatured when the temp is 130 degrees.
Everything gets denatured when the temp gets high enough. It is a process so it is not like throwing a light switch.
No one said that above temperature X that the half life of COVID is zero. But with increase temperature its 1/2 life s reduced considerably.
If you have more scare stories, I'd love to hear them,
