People who preach total lockdown are not minimizing deaths from all causes not necessarily minimizing all corona deaths. Many of them however are obnoxious and politically calculating.

I agree with the tin plated dictator of White Russia. This is a psychosis. Why tout remdesivir over chloroquinine? The former is under patent and the latter is a generic. It is such an emergency that politicians and lobbyists are lined up to maximize profit. That tells me that it is not much of a pandemic.
They say they do not know exactly how remsedivir works. They do give a mechanism, a pathway, for how chloroquinine works.
