War Is Boring: China preparing to conduct an exercise which will simulate an assault on Taiwanese islands
The People’s Liberation Army is preparing for a gargantuan “training exercise” in the South China Sea, one designed to simulate the assault and takeover of Taiwanese island chains.
No longer attempting to hide their future intentions, the Chinese Communist Party will be conducting their exercises via the Southern Theater Command, and will utilize helicopters, marines, hovercrafts and assault vessels, in the hopes of learning how to better orchestrate a takeover of the Dongsha Islands (also known as the Pratas Islands).
A Taiwanese National Park, the Dongsha Islands cover around 353,668 acres and are prime real estate for the Chinese Communist Party, who wish to have a direct leap point into the Pacific Ocean.

If China invades Taiwan it would be a strategic mistake of the first order.

Saying and doing are two different things. If China invades Taiwan they'd better take it in a day.
I still believe it would be an enormous mistake.
if there dictator n ccp attempt to invade Taiwan, there wil be conventional war there. communist china Vs USa/world there. Immediately, sanction will apply to ccp govt if sanction has not been appplied by USa/World by then. ccp china will lose in biggest ways.
