F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter Crashes In Florida. Pilot Ejected Safely

Warzone/The Drive: F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter Crashes During Training Flight In Florida (Updated)

The Raptor was on a local training mission when the pilot was forced to eject.

Details are still limited, but an Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter jet has crashed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and the pilot is now at a local hospital in stable condition. The aircraft was flying a routine training sortie at the time and was not involved in a flyover earlier in the day that was part of a larger nation-wide salute healthcare workers and first responders on the frontlines of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic as some outlets initially reported.

The first reports of the crash began to emerge at around 11:30 AM local time. The Air Force says that the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft before it hit the ground. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is already underway.

Update: I posted a video from a reader who said it showed the pilot ejecting. I have not been able to verify it, so I have deleted it.

The video you postedis NOT of this F-22 crash. The terrain is wrong for that area. Spent 10 years there and know the area well. If I had to guess, it's footage of some other aircraft type (F-15 or F-16) that crashed in Nevada, Arizona or the California east of the Sierra Nevada mountains based on the low mountains and color of the ground and foliage.

Comrade Xi will never have to fire a shot!

America's planes can't fly and their lousy ships keep crashing into other ships.
China never thought it'd be this easy.

Does congress and the pentagon figure this in when procuring platforms that are needs for a few to several decades?

The Navy ship colliding in Japan was a cause in part by touch screens. If you drive a car, you could change a radio station using preset buttons in the dark (without looking). You could keep your eyes on the road. You can't do that with a car made in the last 10 years or so. The technology used for the bridge was wrong. It has since been changed.

President Xi has a list of people, who hate the CCCP system. Mongols, Hui, Manchus, Tibetans, Uighurs, other factions of the communist Party. people who relatives were killed because they were protesters or sick with corona, ...

It is a large list in terms of percentages.
