Former Top Economist In The Obama Administration Predicts The Best Economic Data Never Seen In The History Of The U.S.

Politico: The general election scenario that Democrats are dreading

"We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country," says a top former economic adviser to Obama.

In early April, Jason Furman, a top economist in the Obama administration and now a professor at Harvard, was speaking via Zoom to a large bipartisan group of top officials from both parties. The economy had just been shut down, unemployment was spiking and some policymakers were predicting an era worse than the Great Depression. The economic carnage seemed likely to doom President Donald Trump’s chances at reelection.

Furman, tapped to give the opening presentation, looked into his screen of poorly lit boxes of frightened wonks and made a startling claim.

“We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country,” he said.

The former Cabinet secretaries and Federal Reserve chairs in the Zoom boxes were confused, though some of the Republicans may have been newly relieved and some of the Democrats suddenly concerned.

“Everyone looked puzzled and thought I had misspoken,” Furman said in an interview. Instead of forecasting a prolonged Depression-level economic catastrophe, Furman laid out a detailed case for why the months preceding the November election could offer Trump the chance to brag — truthfully — about the most explosive monthly employment numbers and gross domestic product growth ever.

WNU Editor: Too early to say where the economy will be next month let alone 5 months from now. But I do sense that the bottom of the U.S. economy has already been reached, and there is nowhere to go right now but up. And here is my prediction. If by November the economy is punching out growth that is in the double digits and the pandemic has petered out, a majority of Americans are not going to vote against President Trump.

Glitch let ineligible immigrants vote in Philly elections, officials say

Former Philadelphia Judge of Elections Convicted of Conspiring to Violate Civil Rights and Bribery

5:02 FO Bitch

HRC campaign consultants did not tell her to look at the electoral college count and figure out what states she needed.

We have the electoral college for the same reason small states get the same 2 votes in the Senate as large states. It is not hard to understand except for a cretin like yourself.

Interesting you brought up the Senate. It should be abolished, too. It's an antiquated body that no longer serves the purpose the founders intended.

While there is no practical way to do so, it should be eradicated.

Because you think so! Lololololo

Election is in 5 month. COVID-19 is still here, but going down. Economy is still low but going up. This is a scissors effect...and in a good way IMHO.

The Burundi Genocide. That is Mob Rule.

The rule of kings speaks for itself.

Until the peace of Westphalia the religion Wars were really bad. Not to good after it.

You are a horrible, lying shit aren't you?!

You are too smart not to know that you are lying. You are just trying to see how far you can get. All that matters to you is victory.

The same group of men drafted the Northwest ordinance which excluded slavery. What the Founders did was kick the can down the road. Slavery existed everywhere in the world and that was the world that they were born in and inherited.

At the time of the founding slavery was still legal in Britain, The British Empire, France, Spain, Portugal, South America, the whole Muslim World, and among Africa peoples.

African princes sent their children to college in France using money from the sale of other Africans.

The Founders knew their limits. They didn't not tackle every problem head on.

Plenty of slavery in the world today and yet I don't see you decry it or do anything about it.

That makes you a fuck. that makes you special.
