Turkey cannot be an ally of any other country in NATO, since it is Muslim country. Muslims polities are not bound by any agreement with non-Muslims polities per the Koran.

Islam is not a religion. Certainly it is not a religion of peace. It is a hegemonic political system.

The Turk was caught blind and stupid. Down too low bullying the Greek helicopter. The Mirage was on top of him before he knew he was there. Pretty sorry piloting and policy.

"And these two countries are supposed to be NATO allies." It's past time for us to withdraw from NATO. We have to many pressing issues to add to it by allowing ourselves to be caught in the middle of a conflict between Gterce and Turkey.

Our reaction to the wuflu has currently wrecked whole segments of our economy. We need to devote our resources to fixing this unforced error. There was no good reason to do this. As for NATO, not to worry it's in great shape!! The other members can carry on without us!!

NATO adds nothing to our defense and hasn't for decades and the cost is enormous. Now is a great time to jettison it. Actually we have no choice. Not only can we not afford it but NATO undermines our national security.
