Reuters: No spike in coronavirus in places reopening, U.S. health secretary says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Authorities are not seeing spikes in coronavirus cases in places that are reopening but are seeking increases in some areas that remain closed, U.S. health secretary Alex Azar said on Sunday.

“We are seeing that in places that are opening; we’re not seeing this spike in cases,” Azar said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. “We still see spikes in some areas that are in fact close to very localized situations.”

WNU Editor: It is still too early if this is a trend that will continue. Even though U.S. testing has increased significantly in the past few weeks, new cases are not rising significantly.

Update: Every country in the northern hemisphere is looking at ways to open up. Unfortunately in the U.S. politics appears to be playing a big role (see below).

The CDC should provide the country with a single, trustworthy data source on the state of COVID-19 testing. But the fact that its data is still in such disagreement with the state-reported totals means that the CDC’s latest efforts are not of much use to politicians and the public. For now, the agency that should be a respected source of truth in this crisis is only adding to the national confusion.

“The CDC criteria include anybody who has died with COVID-19, but what the people of Colorado and the people of the country want to know is how many people died of COVID-19,” Polis told “Fox News Sunday.”

Inconsistencies in death counts have been happening on both the state and national level. As of Friday, Johns Hopkins University data counted 85,974 national COVID-19 deaths, while the CDC was reporting 83,947 that same day. There has been concern that even the CDC’s lower number may be artificially high.

“We’ll Just Get Rid of All Whites in the United States”
CDC Chair of Advisory Committee on Immunizations Lashes Out at White Americans

I looked it up.

Here’s how many Americans are actually anti-vaxxers

White are 6% likely to say vaccines are unsafe.

Non-whites are 17% likely to say vaccines are unsafe or almost 3 times as likely as whites.

Believing vaccine are unsafe is not the same as being an ant-vaxxer. You might think vaccines are unsafe but go along anyway because, you feel helpless against the government, nature, or just naturally fatalistic.

But look at what this college educated doctor said. Get rid of the white people? Where did that whore learn that? She learned it at college and form the rest of the intelligencia.

Let's say that 90% of the hard line antivaxxers are white. That might reflect economics level more than ethnicity. They no longer worry about money as much and so worry about the
'next' thing. Vaccines do not have to adhere to the same safety standards as drugs. So maybe the anti-vaxxers have reason to worry.

But is 90% of known anti-vaxxers are white but only 6% of whites are, why would this horrible bitch Carol Baker want to get rid of white people?

Which brings me to KevinSorbo. His stand is brave. It goes against the Carol Bakers of the world and their machinations.
